The Supermicro SC846 is a 4u rack mount server with a relatively standard internal configuration. It sports Xeon E5-2600 v2 series processors, up to 768GB of DDR4 memory, two 2.5″ drives for RAID storage, ten 3.5″ HDD bays for standard storage options, and one optical drive bay for an optional CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive.
